Placement Procedures at IIMs
In most IIM placements there is a procedure followed by the respective recruitment committees. IIM Bangalore conducts its placements through the Campus Recruitment Program (CRP). Generally IIMs sends invitations to a few chosen companies to partake in the campus placements. Further companies have to fill a form to confirm their participation in the recruitment process. Some IIMs also request companies to send details of the job and the positions they want to recruit for. Students have to send their resumes to their preferred companies.
In most IIM placements, companies conduct pre-final assessments like written tests, group discussions, aptitude tests as well as preliminary interviews a day prior to the day of the final selection.
